Comics and Hip-Hop are both hybrid forms, forging new ideas by combining existing elements in new and creative ways, reflecting and shaping popular culture through artistic expression. Rappers and graffiti artists utilize four-color visuals and adopt heroic alter-egos; MCs and producers create universes with words and sound; comic creators incorporate Hip-Hop's music, dance, and fashion into the fabric of their stories.
