The Shadow Hours follows twins born with a mysterious condition: only one of them can be awake at a time. Posing as one person, each awake for only half of a day, they make a living as private investigators … until a budding romance threatens to tear apart the fabric of their lives. The short film stars Tom Riley (DaVinci’s Demons) and Britt Lower (Man Seeking Woman), and is written and directed by Higgins (Nightwing, Batman Eternal, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Batman Beyond 2.0 ), filmed by ICG award-winning cinematographer Michael Nie (Shutter Island, Ray, The Kingdom), with an original score from Emmy Award-winning composer Bear McCreary (The Walking Dead, Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD, Outlander, Battlestar Galactica, 10 Cloverfield Lane). Panelists will include Higgins, Nie, executive producer Omar Spahi and producers JJ Vazquez & Nick Erickson. The short film, which has already earned honors at film festivals across the nation, is currently being developed for a full-length version by Higgins.
